Embark on a Journey of Connection

Carey’s therapeutic approach is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where individuals and couples can explore their inner experiences, gain clarity, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, rebuilding after adversity, or seeking a deeper connection with yourself or others, therapy offers a path forward.

Tailored Sessions

Each session is thoughtfully personalized to reflect your unique experiences, goals, and emotional needs. Whether you're navigating ADHD, stress, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or relationship concerns, Carey creates a space where honest reflection and healing can occur.

Evidence-based Techniques

Drawing from proven therapeutic methods such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), ADHD specialized training, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, mindfulness-based practices, and elements of the Gottman Method (for relationship concerns), Carey helps clients gain insight, shift unhelpful patterns, and build emotional resilience.

Holistic Relationship Care

Carey takes a holistic approach to psychological wellness, addressing the emotional, cognitive, and relational aspects of each person’s life. By supporting the whole self, not just the symptoms, she helps clients foster lasting growth, inner strength, and meaningful change.

The Symbolism of the Acorn: Growth, Potential, and Renewal

Throughout history, the acorn has stood as a powerful symbol of life, potential, and transformation. In ancient Rome, the oak tree and its seed, the acorn, were revered as sacred, representing strength, resilience, and the continuity of life. Even the smallest acorn held the promise of becoming a mighty oak, embodying the truth that from humble beginnings, great things can grow.

At Clearway Psychology and Wellness, we embrace the acorn as a reflection of the therapeutic journey. Just as one small seed can grow into something strong and enduring, healing and personal change often begin with a single, intentional step. Therapy is a nurturing process, one that invites growth, deep roots, and lasting transformation over time.

The acorn reminds us that even during difficult seasons, new beginnings are always possible. With support, care, and patience, small shifts can evolve into profound personal growth, just as a single acorn becomes an oak.
